MEMBER BRAGS

This section is available for any member to place a picture or a line brag.

Brags can be purchased for $1.00 a line. A picture brag can be purchased for $5.00.  Pictures should be a clear, crisp JPEG like Buddy the Beagle here with his friend Gavin, Cecil County's Little Fire Chief.

Brags can be about any topic.  For example:  Look at what my dog did at the shows, look at my dog lounging around our home, here is my dog getting a bath, here I am at an event, etc.  Brag ads will run for approximately 30 days and can be renewed.

The NEMKC Board reserves the right to review as well as reject any brags that do not comply with the objectives of our club.

Crosby, a Shetland Sheepdog won High Combined and High Score at the Sheltie National Specialty in Virginia Beach, VA. Even more impressive Crosby achieved  this with three perfect scores.  Way to go Crosby and Debra.

CH Tebo Dralions Cirque Du Soleil, AKC & UKC Champion.  Italion Greyhound.  "Solei"  On October 17th, Soleil had her very first litter!  Sadly two boys and a girl did not survive but the surviving girl is thriving and growing.  Her name hasn't yet been determined as this is a three breeder effort.  Congrats Solei, we are looking forward to seeing your baby at a show next year.

Wyatt who is only 22 months old achieved his first  Group 1 at the Mid Susquehanna Dog Shows  on Saturday August 26, 2017 and a Group 2 on Sunday, August 27, 2017.  He achieved his second Group 1 on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at the Kennel Club of Northern New Jersey.  GCh. Cornerstone's Wyatt Earp is indeed a new Sheriff in town!

Smiley Acres Handyman's Hurry CD,PCD,BN,RN---Handy earned his CD title @the Baltimore County Kennel Club Show
Kalabria Tawney the Tiger CD,PCD,BN,RAE --earned 2 more legs toward his RAE2 title--with one perfect score of 100 and 3rd place; one score of 89 and 2 of 87.
Oak-Hill White Christmas CD,PCD,BN,RAE-earned 2 more legs toward his RAE2 title also-with a 99 and 1st place, a 98 and 4th place; a 96 and a 93.
Also visited Bel Air Health and Rehab with these 3 boys on April 20th-put them up in wheelchairs with many residents and did some obedience work in the hallway for all to watch

Wyatt, who is not quite 1- 1/2 old  is distinguishing himself in the show ring.  Best of Breed two out of three days in Harrisburg and is now ranked in the top six of bloodhounds.  Wyatt is already qualified to show in the Bloodhound Top 20 this Fall in Ocean Shore, WA.

Details are not available but Debra's three Shelties continue to make her proud by racking up Rally points and new titles at a recent Rally trial.  Good Job Deb!

Wyatt, a 16 month old bloodhound  went Best of Breed at a huge supported event with over 58 bloodhounds in the competition.  He leveraged that Best of Breed with an Owner Handled Group 1 and finished an exciting day with an Owner Handled Best in Show.  Way to go Wyatt and Beth Vanselous who bred and also owns Wyatt.

Event - Harford County's Most Beautiful held on October 6, 2016.  Guy Long met and  was honored by County Commissioner Barry Glassman with a prestigious challenge medal from Barry and had his picture taken with him.  Way to go Guy!

Moore Bowwag's - 5 month old Biewer Terrier named Kensi competed in FSS Open Show  at the Catonsville Kennel Club Dog Show where she went Group 2 and earned 3 Certificate of Merits points, Kensi also showed in the Catonsville Kennel Club and went Best of Open Show for 3 Certificate of Merits points, then to finish off the weekend, competed in the National Capital FSS Open Show and went Group 2 to earn 3 Certificate of Merits points.  Wahooo!  What a banner weekend for Kensi and Ann.

L-Sin's Midnight Madness - Gonzo a Bernese Mountain Dog completed his UKC Championship in one weekend at 18 months of age.  Go Gonzo, Go!

Guy Long

Guy and his Sheltie Glory, age 7 competed in the AKC Obedience Trail held in Halthorpe, MD at the Oriole Training Center  on September 18, 2016.   Guy and Glory qualified for a third place ribbon in Beginners Novice.  Good Job Guy!

Betty Cox

Betty and Reagan, her 2 year old Doberman Pincher (UKC Ch Caleb's Unwavering CGC) went winners dog for 2 points at the Catonsville Maryland Kennel Club Show on October 29, 2016.  This was Betty's first ever AKC show points with her as his handler and now Reagan has a total of 5 points.   Way to go Betty and Reagan.....hard work and determination does pay off.

Ch, Spirit's Heart of Gold "Luna" a 2 year old Scottie finished her AKC Championship in Marquette, MI with back to back Best of Opposite Sex wins.  Needless to say Nita is over the moon with Luna's accomplishment

On Saturday at Mechanicsburg UKC show Lewis Brookwood Isaiah went RBIS to finish his Grand championship title. I handled Isaiah to earn the title of first Biewer Terrier to earn UKC Grand Champion title.

At the UKC shows in Mechanicsburg this past weekend.  Heartlands the Farrah est  Of Them All won BIS and her first win towards her grand championship title. On Sunday show Farrah went RBIS.

Patticakes, Berryhill's Put It In a Pan, got her Beginner Novice title on Sunday, August, 28th.  She got her first 2 legs at the Oriole Dog Club Show Memorial weekend and her 3rd leg on the 28th of August.  So she is now Berryhill's Put It In a Pan, BN, RN, CGC.

Not to bad for a 10 year old lab.  We scored in the 180's each time.
